Summer Time!

Well it looks like we are actually going to have an eventful summer...for the first time ever! We are back in Fort Worth (have been for about 2 months)! It's so nice to be "home". We had a few (ok, few is quite the understatement) spiders when we moved back, but they are pretty much only outside now. Kevin has been working on our yard a lot, which is great! The kids and I love to go hang out with him outside. Oh and the best news EVER, I am pregnant again!!!!!! Yep, 12 weeks...only 28 more to go. We went to the doctor yesterday and got to have a sonogram! YAY! I'm thinking, girl. We'll know for sure in 8 LOOOONG weeks. I seriously can't stand the wait! Every night Kaitlin prays "thank you for letting my Mommy have another baby" and Kiley prays, "thank you my Mommy have another one baby". I am so excited that they're so excited. I can't wait to meet this little one. Maybe a bigger house will be a necessity soon (I don't think the 1400 sf we're in right now will comfortably hold 6 people). This house is a lot easier to clean though! I've been trying to get some baking in lately (my fave thing to do)...but we're just so busy, and I'm sooo exhausted. The morning sickness is over, but I get incredibly tired while I'm pregnant. Well, on to our adventures...The kids and I have been to the zoo a few times, and since we got season passes, we'll be going a lot more! Yay for the wonderful Texas heat (hmm, maybe those season passes weren't such a great idea after all). Last weekend we went to Hurricane Harbor. We had such a good time, which was quite a surprise having all 3 kids with us. Ben and I hung out in the lazy river and wave pool a lot, while Kevin attempted to get Kaitlin and Kiley to ride some rides. So, we got season passes for this place too. Now we've got a very fun place to go on weekends and splash in the water! Kevin "borrowed" (my words)/"is test driving" (his words) a boat for the weekend. It's soooo much fun, and we all love it, but I just can't see us having a boat...at least without a bathroom :) Kiley turns 3 on the 17th! I cannot believe it! We are having a ladybug themed birthday party, it should be fun! Neil, Tiffany, and us are going to San Antonio in 5 days! Tiffany is a trooper! She waaay pregnant, and she's still making the trip. Yay Tiffany! It should be lots of fun, we've never brought the kids to SA before.

I'm back!

Ok, it's been a loooong time, and soooo many things things have been going on. About a month ago we had Meoshi's baby shower, and a few days later we got to welcome Nash Carlston Roberts! He was born more than a month early, but he is doing great! He's THE cutest little baby. Kiley always says "Teeny tiny Nash" and "Nash is sleeping"...yep, that's all he does! Ok, well he's too cute, we all love him! And the weekend after that we had Tiffany's baby shower. My lens broke (everyone have a big cry for me!), so the only pictures I got to take were with Neil's and Tiffanys friend's camera. I did take some before pictures of a couple of the things I made. It was such a fun time, and she had quite a turn out. A few weeks ago they found out they are having a boy! Yeah! It's so funny to hear Neil talk about baby stuff. I think this will be the most over-protected child ever. But that's good, he will be a great dad. The kids are growing up so fast! Ben's got this funny thing he does with his lips, he looks like he trying to kiss, but he does it all the time: when he's thinking, mad, making noises, see something exciting, yea all the time. Kiley is acting so much older suddenly. She and Kaitlin are really getting along and pretending together all the time. Ok, I had so much to say, and now I can't think of anything that's happened in our lives...Kevin's dad got married this weekend. Saturday we went to my mom's and she showed us a borrow with baby bunnies, so, now we have an "Easter" bunny. Kaitlin named it Sparkles. You've got to love that name...there's nothing like hearing Kevin tell people our bunny's name! :) The kids are so in love with this bunny. Easter was so much fun, and we had the best weather EVER! We went to Kevin's Aunt Becky's and ate lunch, hunted eggs, and had a silly string fight! That was definately my favorite part. Ben suprised everyone with his egg hunting skills! He was just as good as kids a year older than him. He'd be walking around carrying 3 eggs to his basket. Everytime he saw an egg he'd make some silly sound that kept me and Kevin laughing. Kiley was all about the hunt this year too! Kaitlin got to hunt with the bigger kids, and I think she was a little confused as to why the eggs weren't laying out in the open for her, but she still had so much fun and got so excited when she'd find one. After the egg hunts came the silly string fight! I think that will definately become a tradition...it was so much fun. We are moving back to Fort Worth on Thursday. It will be nice to be back home, although Rockwall has been wonderful. Ok, now for some pictures! I'll have to get some Easter ones up as soon as I get them off my camera! Meoshi's diaper cake

YAY BEN!

Valentine's Day was very nice. We got to have Kevin home all day! Kevin and Kaitlin did some dancing and we just hung out and enjoyed having everyone together! We have exciting (well, it's exciting to me!) news around here! Ben went potty last night, this morning, and after his nap this afternoon! He is excited for himself. :) This past Friday night my car, which I somehow left unlocked, was broken in to! Yep, they stole my GPS out of the console and Kaitlin's wallet that had like $10 in it. It was so upsetting! And I got to teach Kaitlin all about "bad guys". She would like to, and I quote, "punch them in the face". She tells it like it is! But I did tell her that we don't need to do that. ;) Kiley is a little chatter box lately! I love it. It seems like a few months ago I couldn't get her to do anything but grunt at me! And today Ben kept coming up to me and saying Mama! He used to say it months ago, but he quit for the longest time...but now Mama is back! Ok, here are some pictures!

Warming up!

Well, it's been warming up here lately! Yesterday the kids were in shorts and t-shirts! I love that in Texas we can be in the 70's in the winter time. Today Kaitlin and Kiley are having their Valentine's Day parties at school...they are so excited! I've been busy getting our taxes done (woo-hoo). So, I should probably be doing them right now, but I am going to take a well deserved break! Last week Kaitlin read her first book, Go Dogs, Go!!!!! She is so excited! I can't believe she starts kindergarten this fall...only 7 more months of having her here all day. :( We plan on putting our house (in Rockwall) up for sale soon so we can move back to Fort Worth. Please pray that it sells quickly and we can get back soon! Tiffany and Neil find out what they are having soon. We're having her baby shower on March 14th. Oh, our vacation to Maui that we went on in January was soooo great! It was very relaxing and we got to see a ton of BIG waves. We rode horses, snorkled, drove to Hana (AGAIN!, 3 times we've driven this road that has over 600 turns!!), took hundreds of pictures, went to the beach, shopped, and ate some fabulous food! YUM. I love that the fish is so fresh. We had the best mahi-mahi with a mango salsa...mmm! Well, I need to find some time and get some pictures on here! The kids are growing so much. Everyday they do something new. It's crazy how fast time flies.

My baby is 5!

Kaitlin is 5! I just can't believe 5 years just came and went so fast! On Friday (her birthday), Kevin got donuts for everyone (Kaitlin's favorite!). He had to leave for work before she got up, but she was sooo excited to wake up to donuts. We even had donuts for lunch too (it was her birthday...we had to do something extra fun!). Later we went to the park. We brought the bubbles, and they all had so much fun! After that we went to McDonald's...yummy! (well, not really, but Kaitlin thinks it is). Finally, we came home and took baths and got ready for bed. Saturday was the big P-A-R-T-Y day! We had a rainbow party at Chuck-E-Cheese...oh..my..gosh! That place is crazy. When I took out my camera to take some pictures...it didn't work! I went in to spaz mode! But luckily, Junior, Meoshi's brother in law, had his new camera and let me borrow it. Thank you Junior! When I get the pictures from him, I'll put them on here. Apparently the cake I made was pretty darn cool! :) Even people from other tables were coming up to take a look at it...I love a good confidence booster! But anyways...Kaitlin had the best time and got so many great presents! Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Kaitlin's 5th birthday.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We have had such a wonderful year! We baked some cookies earlier in the week, and the girls had so much fun helping! On Thursday, New Year's Eve, we ate at The Harbour on Lake Ray Hubbard at some great mexican food restaurant (I just can't remember the name!) and we went to the movies and saw Bedtime Stories. It was so funny. Kaitlin loved it, Kiley laughed a little, and Ben had so much fun climbing up and down the stairs in the movie theatre! Saturday was so beautiful! It was in the 80's...gotta love this Texas weather. The kids and I went out and did some yard work for about 4 hours. Kevin stained the back porch and back driveway. It's beautiful! The girls and I got to go on a bike ride (Kiley finally got to try her new bike outside). Sunday was a relaxing day and it was so cold, the 40's! We went to Town East Mall and went to eat at McAllister's deli. Kaitlin's having a rainbow birthday party on Saturday, so Sunday night Kevin and I made a practice rainbow cake...we had to make sure we could actually make it, incase we really needed to pay a pro to do it. But I think we did a great job!! So, I am ready to make her cake for her party. Today we had freezing, so Kevin stayed home from work! I love when he gets to be here all day! Well, here are some pictures of what we've been up to:
